Mega Bloks Halo Toymation Fest 2012

Big news for all you toymation directors out there — the Mega Bloks Halo Toymation Fest 2012 is about to kick off! This year, videos will be broken down into five categories:

  • Action: Action-packed films with a focus on combat and special effects.
  • Comedy: Films that are all about fun and making you laugh!
  • Drama: Films that rely primarily on story-telling and character interactions.
  • Classical: Films that incorporate elements from classic movie-making, such as silent films or black-and-white.
  • Sports: Films that are all about getting active! And yes, dancing is a sport. So is Grifball, for that matter.

What’s at stake? Aside from the great opportunity of having your video broadcast on Halo Waypoint, you can also win a MacBook Pro, a Canon Rebel DSLR, a ton of custom builds, the complete 2012 Mega Bloks Halo collection, and more.

Submissions open September 1st. Check out the official website for all the details and get filming!

    Hopefully a member of MegaBloks will read and answer this question for me. In the Rules and Regulations of the Toymation tournament comming up, it was stated that only one video may be submitted per category. I have been working all summer on some sweet and epic videos and now your telling me I have to choose just one(they are all action except for one). If I am misunderstanding this please explain and if not then I just wasted a heck of a lot of time. (:-(

    Spartan0782 it may seem hard at first but it really is’nt all that tough. All you need is a camera, possibly a tri-pod, Megablocks figs, and the will to make a good stop-motion. (p.s, i will enter for the first time too and I hope either you or me win) ;)

    hey cheesysocks i wish that they would make the spectre from halo 2 and i also want to see the AA wraith from halo 3 and last but not least a base so that people who can`t make one can just buy it and there all set for if there making a stop motion.

    he had already made his vidio and had tons of fans on youtube even before the contest. so when the contest started he made a vidio on youtube to ask all his fans to vote for him daily and had a link to this website in the discription…….. so i dont think it was realy fair for us…

    halo battle-scape but if you do not have enough mg or Lego you can pick up at walmart or the dollar store big pads of paper and paint them that’s what I’m doing. and i thought that you couldn’t do one snipershotxd?>?>?>?

    Awsome I SHALL try to win im actually an amuture toymation artist but have a bunshor guys and the spade vs skirmisher set and GO COMEDY so first for more entries you should release foward unto dawn for $1.00 so we can recreate action sences from the game.
