Mega Bloks and Activision teaming up for Skylanders this Fall
Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure won critical and fan acclaim last year by being the first game to combine the toy world and the game world into one singular, seamless experience. Skylanders brought toys into the game world; now we’re bringing that game into the real world. Skylanders Giants is coming this Fall, and we’ll be there with them with our latest collection: Mega Bloks Skylanders Giants!
Mega Bloks Skylanders will give Portal Masters the chance to build and touch the world they work so hard to protect and explore. Exciting locales, character figures, and battles will be hitting shelves later this year — stay tuned to this blog for more info!
World of Warcraft Sneak Peek: Demolisher Attack
It’s time for another Mega Bloks® World of Warcraft™ sneak peek! This week we’re looking at one of the larger and more interactive sets, the Demolisher Attack. The Demolisher has a long history in the Warcraft franchise, but did not appear in WoW until Wratch of the Lich King – regardless of that, it’s one of the Horde’s most important siege weapons.

The Demolisher in this set is manned by a Blood Elf Warrior and includes a working catapult. He’s facing off against a Human Warlock and his Voidwalker who have taken up defense in an Alliance tower and are firing back with their own catapult! Check out the prototype shots below.

The Mega Bloks BarbieTM collection line-up will allow fans to be in control of their dreams in a buildable world of fashion and fantasy. The Mega Bloks Hot WheelsTM collection will combine the worlds of building and racing to give racers the customization options they need to build the ultimate vehicles.

Review: Moshi Monsters Build-a-Monster Series
Moshi Monsters is a line that is very fun for us to work on. Based on the hit online game of the same name, we’re incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to translate these adorable monsters to the world of bloks. Aside from selling constructable play sets with miniature Moshi Monsters figures, we also have Build-a-Monsters that allow you to build the Monster entirely out of bloks! Currently, we’ve released three of the most popular Moshi Monsters: Diavlo, Katsuma and Poppet.
The Monsters are quite simple and fast to build — you should be able to finish them in under half an hour! Above, you can see the steps of Diavlo being built.
We’ve done our best to translate every detail of the in-game monsters into blok form. Each set comes with stickers for the facial features, and special bonus stickers like jewels and the Moshi Monsters logo!
Katsuma is perhaps the most popular Moshi Monster! While each Monster is available in many colors, I really love this orange color for Katsuma. He really has a sarcastic looking mouth though, huh?
And of course, Poppet in an adorable pink color!
The Build-a-Monsters are awesome builds, even if you’re not a fan of Moshi Monsters (and if you’re not, get playing — it’s free!). Really happy to have these little guys around my office!
