Wow, we have so much fun meeting fans. Every one of us who made the trip to New York had a blast at Comic Con last week – something very easy to do when we’re hanging out with families giving out freebies and building fun!
It was pretty cool working the Mega Bloks Collectors booth during this year’s New York Comic Con. Our massive Ezio Big Build was the star of the show – not many fans left the Javits Center without snapping at least one picture of the looming assassin.
We’re seriously reconsidering our next family photo after coming across the amazingly creative and hilarious work of photo artist David Engledow this week.
Though a lot of dads claim the be the world’s best, Engledow may actually have photographic proof, thanks to the ‘World’s Best Father’ photo series he’s been doing with his daughter Alice Bee since she was only a few months old.
A little over a month ago, we adopted this adorable little fella from our creative shop. We fell in love with him immediately when he gazed up at us with big eyes hidden in droopy black patches on his beautiful panda face.
The season is heating up and we’ve got some all-new content for superfans. We know some of you love decking out your computers with Mega Bloks Halo gear, so here are some new wallpapers to do it with.
So many of the staff at Mega Bloks grew up with Mr Rogers. It likely motivated a lot of us to get into working in the toy industry. It’s not just an interest in toys, but an interest in families, and child development, and caring.
Here we go! Assassin’s Creed Construction Sets. This is a big one for me personally as I’ve been an absolutely massive fan of the Assassin’s Creed franchise since launch day of the original game. And no doubt, there are a lot of you in the same boat. Let’s check out the first wave of sets!
Last weekend we were thrilled to join dozens of Thomas & Friends fans at the Strasburg Rail Road in Lancaster, PA to watch a life-sized Percy make his US debut in the Day Out with Thomas Tour. Any time we get a chance to hang out with ecstatic kids for a whole weekend of living their dreams, we’re going to take it!
Sets go through a lot of changes between the design team deciding ‘we’re going to make a Broadsword’ and the set that fans see show up in stores. Here’s a look at some of the early stages our team went through in figuring out exactly what the Broadsword would look like.
To show off our all-new Halo micro action figure, we asked our in-house 3D artist to come up with something cool that animates the system in action. Holy moly did he ever deliver!
